Year of Physics
2005 is being celebrated world-wide as the "Year of Physics",
commemorating Einstein's famous discoveries a century ago,
that overhauled the physical world-view for years to come.
Special programmes will be held at IISc during the year.
These include monthly public lectures and exhibitions.
